"When I say I love you, I say if for the both of us"
~ S.B.B ~
I am so often paralyzed by the fear of not creating a perfect finished product that I sit on projects afraid to start them. One thing that death has taught me about the inevitability of being finished there should be as many drafts and detours along the way as possible.
This page is dedicated to those going through grief and experiencing the life changing effects of loss.
It is my external grief drive, a place where I can lay out my musings and come back to them later to fold and sort like a pile of laundry.
In honor and loving memory of my father

Spencer Brennen
My name is Spencer. I am a native of Philadelphia and have recently moved back home after a period of working in New York. The pandemic has altered everyone's lives and certainly given me the time to look back and reflect on the ongoing process of overcoming and learning to live with loss. My journey through grief has been an extraordinary process. I have learned so much about myself, my friends and relationships and I feel lucky to be surrounded by supportive friends and allies.
